The following stages gives the client a brief understanding of the interior design process.

Strategic Definition - The studio collaborates with the client to produce a strategic brief.

Preparation and Brief - The studio develops the project objectives including quality, sustainability, project budget, other parameters or constraints and develops the initial project brief.

Concept Design - The studio develops and produces the concept design, including sample materials, furniture and finishes along with preliminary cost information.

Developed Design - The studio develops the concept design, goes into more detail for each area, such as electrical layouts, sample boards and visuals. Cost information is updated.

Technical Design - The studio develops the technical design for tender and co-ordinates with others instructed by the Client.

Construction - Co-ordination with the contractors site teams, regular site visits producing design resolution sketches as required by the contractor. Weekly conference calls to discuss progress etc. with the contractor and architect. Visit site as required.

Handover and Close Out - The studio makes final inspections, issues a snagging list, advises maintenance of furnishing, fittings and materials.

The studio regularly secures trade discounts on furniture, soft furnishing, decorative lighting, artwork, wall finishes and flooring. These discounts are passed on to the client plus a small purchasing fee.
